Our Youth Theater Program is designed to peak the
interest of area youth and cultivate their knowledge of the theatre. All roles are cast solely
on talent, which mean auditions are necessary to be part of the show. Auditions are by appointment
only and actors are given a specific monologue to rehearse when they sign up to audition. There
is no fee for auditioning or participating, however parents and siblings are encouraged to help
out with costumes and scenery!
Theater is comprised of many elements aside from acting.
Local youth also serve as the backstage and technical crew for each show. Sound and Lighting
Technicians as well as backstage crew and stage managers are always needed and are
just as important as the actors. If you’re interested in helping behind the scenes contact Craig
Price directly by calling 495-8989 or emailing

The Center for the Arts Youth Theater
presents... This is the endearing classic about a mouse named Stuart Little who is born
into an ordinary New York family. The many adventures—both big and small—of Stuart Little
are brought vividly to life in this live theatre presentation. The Center for the Arts
Youth Theatre acting ensemble plays many human and animal roles in a series of delightful
scenes that make up the marvelous maneuverings of a mild-mannered mouse trying to survive
in a “real people’s world.” Adapted by Joseph Robinette. Based on the book by E.B. White.
Directed by Craig Price.
